The Byodoin Temple is the image on the Japanese 10 yen coin.

President's transfer board April 2011 transfers. A lot of missionaries. 21 new missionaries arrived.

2 Assistants and 2 Travelling Assistants/Trainers this transfer, including Elder Guy from Tokyo. Sister McIntyre made them Fantastic 4 aprons.

This is what it looks like when you have 21 missionaries over for dinner.

Thank you for sharing these photos President, particularly the photo of the transfer board. To me it has special meaning because almost all of the areas listed on the board I was familiar with back in 02-04 when they were the Hiroshima Mission (everywhere west of Maizuru/Amagasaki). It's an amazing miracle to see double the missionaries in many of the areas that had only had one companionship when I was serving there. Thank you again for sharing this blog with all of us who have a special place in our heart for the work in Japan. May the Lord continue to bless those doing his work and the wonderful Japanese people.
