Mission President Seminar in Korea

The past few days were spent in Seoul Korea for the Asia North Area Mission President Seminar. We were privileged to have Elder Cook of the Twelve preside and train us accompanied by Elder Costa of Presidency of the Seventy. Of course Elders Stevenson, Choi and Aoyagi all of the Seventy and our Area Presidency also attended and trained. All the mission presidents from Japan, Korea and Guam/Micronesia attended.This (below) is the group of Japanese presidents and wives that came out with us last year. Two more years to go and it is going way too fast. From left to right, President and Sister Isa, President and Sister Tateoka and President and Sister Daniels. We had a little time to hit the street market. This was as we left the Nandaemun Market in Seoul.
We visited the National Cultural Museum and took a whole group picture. Our general authority visitors and area presidency are on the front row. We are in the back row next to the Daniels and Tateoka's.

At Sunday night dinner, many of the Korean sisters dressed in traditional Korean dresses.

The conference was wonderful as we were instructed by the Spirit through an apostle and the Lord's servants. Elder Cook was one of the lead general authorities on the missionary committee when Preach My Gospel was created and he shared with us many insights about that wonderful guide for missionaries. We will be teaching and following up on the things learned in our missions and especially at zone conferences.

Mission President's Seminar - Asia North Area in Seoul Korea

November 21 -23 we attended our area's mission president's seminar in Seoul, Korea. We were privileged to have Elder Oaks of the Twelve and Elder Clayton of the Presidents of the Seventy attend with their wives as well as our Area Presidency, Elder Evans, Elder Stevenson and Elder Choi of the Seventy with their wives. Above is a picture of the Japan mission presidents. Elder Oaks is on the far left and Elder Stevenson on the far right. We are next to Elder and Sister Stevenson.

Here we are with President and Sister Tateoka who came out with us and are serving in Sendai. We loved his hat. Sister McIntyre is from that mission and President Tateoka has been a great support in helping Sister McIntyre's mother become more active at church again.

Here we are with President and Sister Daniels. They are Erika's Mission President and Mom in Sapporo.

This was our table for dinner one of the evenings. Elder and Sister Stevenson, with us, President and Sister Daniels and President and Sister Perriton who are serving in Korea.

It was a great three days and will certainly be one of many highlights of our mission.
We arrived home to find the mission still here and doing fine! I only had one phone call I had to take concerning a missionary during the trip.
